The Bloomington Bison have announced that they’ve signed goaltender Jake Barczewski for the 2025-26 season. Barczewski, 26, is coming off his rookie season, where he went 16-15-3 with a 3.49 GAA and .902 SV% in 40 games with the Utah Grizzlies despite being on an AHL Deal with the Colorado Eagles. He would make one appearance with the Eagles at the end of the 2023-24 season. The signing of Barczewski gives the Bison some stability in net after they went through seven different goaltenders last season. He is the eighth player signed to a contract with Bloomington for the 2025-26 season.
