Florida Everblades forward Hudson Elynuik is heading overseas to Germany to join the Straubing Tigers (DEL). This will be his third time playing overseas, as he had two goals and seven assists for nine points in 52 games with the Kunlun Red Stars during the 2024-25 season. Elynuik, 28, began last season overseas in Slovakia, where he had two goals and an assist for three points in five games with HK 32 Liptovsky. In 38 games with the Everblades, he had 13 goals and 22 assists for 35 points. He had a strong Kelly Cup Playoffs, putting up four goals and 13 assists for 17 points along with 32 PIMS in 17 games as the Everblades won their fourth Kelly Cup Championship in five years. Elynuik is the member of the Everblades to take the overseas route, joining defenseman Ross MacDougall.

Elynuik’s North American Stats

The Calgary, Alberta, native spent the majority of his first six seasons in the AHL. Over the course of six seasons in the AHL, Elynuik had 25 goals and 46 assists for 71 points in 210 games with the Toronto Marlies, Tucson Roadrunners, and Chicago Wolves, while playing in two Calder Cup Playoff games with the Roadrunners in 2023. At the ECHL level, he had made stops with the Newfoundland Growlers and Rapid City Rush. During his rookie season, he had nine goals and 19 assists for 28 points in 33 games with the Growlers. He made a brief stop with the Rush during the 2021-22 season, where he had a goal and two assists for three points in two games.
