The Maine Mariners today announced the signing of defenseman Xavier Henry who made his Mariners debut back in March. He appeared in just one game finishing as a minus-one which game in a 4-1 loss to the Admirals. Before joining Maine he appeared in eight games at the University of Vermont where he had an assist and was a minus-two.

Henry spent four seasons with the Catamounts in the Hockey East. In his first season he appeared in 18 games recording an assist and was a minus-three. His second season he played in 22 games scoring his first collegiate goal. He finished that season with a goal and two assists and was even in plus/minus. His third season he played in 26 games recording ten points on four goals and six assists; he was a -12. He finished his collegiate career playing in 74 games recording 14 points on five goals and nine assists; he was a -17.

Before college he spent three seasons with the Chilliwack Chiefs in the BCHL. There he finished with 45 points on 12 goals and 33 assists; he had 110 penalty minutes. In 14 playoff games he had an assist and six penalty minutes.
