Lawrence Britt reported an offer from Alabama after participating in camp.
Britt is a product of Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, Tennessee. Most recruiting sites consider him to be a four-star recruit and one of the top wide receivers in the 2027 recruiting class.
Britt’s Alabama offer came from the Tide’s wide receiver coach JaMarcus Shephard.
“This offer is a major blessing,” Britt told Touchdown Alabama. “I can’t thank God enough for this opportunity. It means a lot coming from a major tradition-rich program.”
The Tide’s staff was able to watch Britt’s film before offering him. His impressive work ethic and the plays he put on tape played pivotal roles in him adding an Alabama offer.
“I was told that they loved my film and the way I worked,” Britt said. “They really emphasized my character and how they think I am a good kid.”
The Alabama coaching staff is continuing to push its emphasis on development in the forever-changing world of college football. This is something that stands out to Britt.
“Alabama is a great program,” said Britt. “I learned a lot of great things from everyone. My overall thoughts on Alabama are they are really big on development and that’s what I love.”
