Elizabeth Hurley, who once made headlines with her iconic Versace safety-pin dress in the 90s, continues to turn heads at 60. Now, an entrepreneur herself, Hurley continues to impress fans with her physique and confidence.
Hurley caught fans’ attention with her May 19 post on Instagram, featuring her in swimwear. It was one of her many promotional posts for her apparel brand Elizabeth Hurley Beach.
“Our delicious Mercury One Piece with optional halter neck strap – is now 70% off,” she wrote in the caption while posing in a blue one-piece bikini.
The former model debuted her luxury swimwear line over two decades ago in 2005. It debuted at Harrods in the UK and later expanded to Saks Fifth Avenue in the US.
Yet, what caught fans’ attention more than the outfit was Elizabeth Hurley’s age-defying physique.
“Stunning,” one fan commented on the post. “Still perfection,” added another. However, Hurley’s fitness at 60 doesn’t come from gym sessions.
She swears by ‘NEAT’ attributing it to most of her active lifestyle and fitness levels. NEAT, which stands for Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis, refers to the energy used by your body while carrying out day-to-day activities like sleeping, running, walking, cooking, and even watching TV.
“I’d rather do housework than go to the gym. I’d rather scrub a mirror—it does just as much,” she told Women’s Health in 2023.
So it’s no wonder fans were impressed by the former actress’s physique. “The most beautiful woman in the world!!!,” said one Instagram user.
While most fans did not hold back on their praises for Hurley, others simply reacted by posting GIFs. That being said, the other part of Hurley’s age-defying physique comes from her diet.
“I try really hard to eat three times a day,” Hurley told Women’s Health. “I think the concept of snacking and grazing throughout the day is terrible for people’s digestion. I think you need to eat and then give your body time to digest…” she added.
So, what do you think about Hurley’s fitness approach and physique? Tell us in the comments.
