ESPN college basketball and bracketology expert Joe Lunardi published the latest edition of his projected 68-team tournament field on Thursday, leaving Oregon as a No. 3 seed.
Lunardi, who updates his projections twice per week, had the Ducks listed as a No. 3 seed before their two most recent wins: on the road over both Ohio State and Penn State.
Still, despite the pair of Big Ten victories, Lunardi kept Oregon as a No. 3 seed on Tuesday and did the same on Friday, squaring the Ducks off against 14th-seeded High Point.
If the Ducks hope to move up Lunardi's ranks, they'll need to continue their three-game Big Ten win streak this Saturday against No. 17 Purdue.
The Boilermakers are coming off an impressive come-from-behind win on the road against Washington. On Lunardi's latest bracketology update, the Boilermakers were also listed as a No. 3 seed. Oregon is currently given a 50.7% chance to win according to ESPN's BPI metric.
