ESPN's Mina Kimes Lands $1 Million Win

Congratulations are in order for longtime ESPN NFL analyst Mina Kimes.

Kimes, who is known for her football knowledge, showed off her knowledge of history, pop culture and more during "Celebrity Jeopardy!" this week. Kimes took down a fellow sports media star, Katie Nolan, in the semifinals of the hit game show, before advancing to the championship match.

In the title game, Kimes was matched up against Ike Barinholtz and Steven Weber. Going into Final Jeopardy, Kimes had the lead with $12,500. Weber, meanwhile, was in second with $10,500, and Barinholtz was in third with $5,100.

Kimes came through in a big way.

The Final Jeopardy clue focused on an 1873 novel that also shares its name with a specific period of US history and a television drama that debuted in 2022.

Kimes answered correctly: “What is The Gilded Age?”

Kimes will be donating her winnings to the SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition.

Fans are sending their congratulations.

"Like her Seattle Seahawks, Mina is a champion. ," one wrote.
