The NFL season is less than two weeks away, and fantasy football drafts are wrapping up. Here is the full list of the fantasy football quarterback rankings for the 2025 season.
Rank | Player | Team |
1 | Lamar Jackson | Baltimore Ravens |
2 | Josh Allen | Buffalo Bills |
3 | Jayden Daniels | Washington Commanders |
4 | Jalen Hurts | Philadelphia Eagles |
5 | Jo e Burrow | Cincinnati Bengals |
These are the clear best five fantasy football quarterbacks for the 2025 season:
Rank | Player | Team |
6 | Patrick Mahomes | Kansas City Chiefs |
7 | Baker Mayfield | Tampa Bay Buccaneers |
8 | Kyler Murray | Arizona Cardinals |
9 | Bo Nix | Denver Broncos |
These players are in a tough position with their ADPs, as they are being drafted at their ceilings. Without injuries to the top five guys, it is very difficult to see how anyone else will perform better than them, making this tier of quarterbacks one to avoid in fantasy drafts due to a lack of value. Fantasy football drafting is all about value, and there is not much value and upside among these players. Therefore, it is better to take a player at another position instead and wait to take a quarterback later.
Rank | Player | Team |
10 | Justin Fields | New York Jets |
11 | Dak Prescott | Dallas Cowboys |
12 | Brock Purdy | San Francisco 49ers |
13 | Caleb Williams | Chicago Bears |
14 | Drake Maye | New England Patriots |
This tier contains players with a lot more upside and potential than the previous tier, and they are going much later in fantasy drafts:
Drake Maye was the QB14 in fantasy points per game in the weeks he was a starter.
He also averaged more rushing yards per game than Josh Allen.
He has massive upside, and we're drafting him at his floor. So why is he being drafted as the QB17? pic.twitter.com/VypXQrrx08

Rank | Player | Team |
15 | Jared Goff | Detroit Lions |
16 | Trevor Lawrence | Jacksonville Jaguars |
17 | Jordan Love | Green Bay Packers |
18 | Justin Herbert | Los Angeles Chargers |
19 | Bryce Young | Carolina Panthers |
20 | C.J. Stroud | Houston Texans |
These quarterbacks are the ones going late in 1-QB fantasy drafts, but there is still value to be had:
Rank | Player | Team |
21 | J.J. McCarthy | Minnesota Vikings |
22 | Michael Penix Jr. | Atlanta Falcons |
23 | Tua Tagovailoa | Miami Dolphins |
24 | Geno Smith | Las Vegas Raiders |
25 | Sam Darnold | Seattle Seahawks |
26 | Cam Ward | Tennessee Titans |
27 | Daniel Jones | Indianapolis Colts |
There are a lot of unknowns about the quarterbacks in this tier, but if they break out, they can provide excellent value in the final rounds of drafts or off the waiver wire:
Rank | Player | Team |
28 | Matthew Stafford | Los Angeles Rams |
29 | Aaron Rodgers | Pittsburgh Steelers |
30 | Russell Wilson | New York Giants |
31 | Joe Flacco | Cleveland Browns |
32 | Tyler Shough/Spencer Rattler | New Orleans Saints |
There really is no path to fantasy relevance for these guys unless in a super deep league:
Rank | Player | Team |
33 | Anthony Richardson | Indianapolis Colts |
34 | Jaxson Dart | New York Giants |
35 | Jalen Milroe | Seattle Seahawks |
36 | Shedeur Sanders | Cleveland Browns |
None of these four guys is the starting quarterback for their teams to begin the year, but if they get a chance to start, they could become fantasy relevant:
