Featherstone Rovers defeated the Barrow Raiders 30–12 in a resounding display at the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium.

The game started with winger Tee Ritson scoring the first goal in the thirteenth minute. Walker's successful conversion gave the home team an early 6-0 lead.

They quickly responded with a forceful attack. Jubb, Reynolds, and Beckett all scored tries in quick succession, and Featherstone led 18–6 at the break with two conversions from Hampshire and Reynolds.

Featherstone maintained control during the second half. Day and Gale both made conversion attempts, but Hampshire helped them, giving Hampshire a 30–6 lead. Walker converted a late try from Barrow in the 68th minute, but it was insufficient to overcome England's lead.

Featherstone Rovers head coach Paul Cooke stressed the value of following the team's strategy prior to the game, saying, “We, as a coaching staff, have been consistent in our messages to the players about how we wanted them to play since word one when we arrived and that has not, and will not, change,” via Featherstone Rovers Official Website.

Featherstone's victory demonstrated its formidable offensive and defensive units. It showcased its ability to manage tension and direct play in the direst situations.

In order to improve their standing in the Championship League, the Barrow Raiders will try to recuperate and enhance their game preparations. As a result, the competition will only get fiercer as the season progresses.

Both sides are eager to watch how these teams do in the tournament as the championship race draws near.
