The Alabama Crimson Tide have done a stellar job of getting commitments from top talent in the 2026 recruiting class. They have already secured commitments from four five-star recruits. However, they are not done as it appears they are in contention to get a fifth.
On Thursday, five-star LB Anthony Jones was interviewed and spoke about the teams he is considering for his commitment. He named Alabama as one of three teams he is considering.
"Texas A&M and Oregon, they're like, far from home, so like that's a big thing for me," Jones said. "Playing for Alabama, I grew up being a Bama fan. It would just be great to play for Bama and stuff like that, man. Those are just my top three."
According to On3, Anthony Jones is a five-star recruit and the No. 23-ranked player in his class. He does not need to rush into making his commitment decision despite many other players in his class choosing to do so.
Alabama has already secured commitments from many of the top players in the 2026 class, including four five-star recruits. Those recruits include: Edge Xavier Griffin, wide receiver Cederian Morgan, CB Jorden Edmonds and safety Jireh Edwards.
