Mitchell is a former five-star defensive back, who signed with Alabama as a member of its 2024 recruiting class. He entered the transfer portal in April after playing in seven games for the Tide as a freshman, mostly contributing on special teams.
The Alabama product plans to return to Power 4 college football in December.
