As part of the 2020 recruiting class, Harrison Bailey was the No. 4 quarterback behind Bryce Young, DJ Uiagalelei and C.J. Stroud. At his highest ranking, Bailey was the No. 38 rated prospect in 247Sports' composite ranks. He would go on to commit to the Tennessee Volunteers.
Two seasons later, he would transfer to UNLV and then to Louisville. After another two seasons with the Cardinals, Bailey has transferred to the Florida Gators to backup starter DJ Lagway.
The Gators are Bailey's fourth college football program over the last five years. Over his five collegiate seasons, Bailey has completed 108-of-171 passes for 1,190 yards, 10 touchdowns and three interceptions.

The 6-foot-5, 230-pound signal-caller is the Gators' fifth incoming transfer portal player. Florida QB Parker Leise entered the portal on December 9 but remains uncommitted.
The Gators' 2025 recruiting class includes 26 players, so they don't have much roster room to be active in the transfer portal.
Florida has secured one commitment at quarterback as part of their most recent recruiting class: Tramell Jones (247th overall). Jones and Bailey will serve as backups.
Lagway, in his true freshman season, passed for 1,915 yards, 12 touchdowns and nine interceptions. The 6-foot-3, 239-pound quarterback was the No. 3 overall recruit in the 2024 class, per On3Sports.
