With the Packers second preseason game vs the Indianapolis Colts in the books. Today we dive into the Green Bay Packers Stock Report. Which players have improved their chances of cracking the 53 man roster, and which players stock have fallen.

Stock Up – Jordan Morgan

The first player up on the Green Bay Packers Stock Report is former 1st Round draft pick Jordan Morgan. Let’s be honest Jordan Morgan is in no danger of not making the Packers 53 Man roster. However due to his health and lack of playing time in 2024, a lot of fans and pundits had already written Morgan off as a bust. Thankfully for the Green Bay Packers, Jordan Morgan is showing exactly why the Packers thought so highly of Morgan when they drafted him 25th overall in 2024. Thus far in the 2025 NFL preseason, Packers left tackle Morgan has allowed zero pressures and zero penalties over 38 pass-blocking snaps. Earning a high 91.3 pass-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus (PFF). He had a perfect pass-blocking performance in the second preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts. His early performance has him pushing for the starting left tackle position for the regular season. These are all great sign s for Morgan and the Packers headed into the 2025 season.

Stock up – Taylor Elgersma

The second player on the Green Bay Packers Stock Report is Quarterback Taylor Elgersma. The un-drafted free agent Quarterback showed off his strong arm talent vs the Indianapolis Colts. Elgersma is in a battle for the number 3 QB spot on the roster with Sean Clifford. The 23-year-old Elgersma was signed as an undrafted free agent back in May. The Wilfrid Laurier University product completed 7-of-11 passes for 109 yards while rushing one time for four yards. He led three scoring drives, two resulted in touchdowns and one a field goal in five possessions. That is a rather successful showing from Elgersma and possibly more than the Packers have seen out of Clifford in his entire time in Green Bay.

Stock Down – Team Health

The most important piece to the Green Bay Packers Stock Report, is not about one player. Unfortunately the injury bug has hit the Packers rather hard since training camp has begun. With injuries to many main players already, the hits seem to just keep on coming. Resting 29 players(yes TWENTY NINE) in their second preseason game vs the Colts is nothing to ignore. Yes you want your full compliment of players come the start of the regular season. However you also need the team to gel together as a unit before the start of the season. The problem is the team is just decimated by injuries with young players MarShawn Lloyd and Barryn Sorrell adding to the list of injured Packers. This team hopes to rest up as much as po ssible before their Week 1 showdown with the Detroit Lions.

Stock Down – Kamal Hadden

Last up on our Green Bay Packers Stock Report is the race for the fifth cornerback spot. Kamal Hadden, a sixth-round pick by the Chiefs last year who had an impressive offseason but missed a big chunk of training camp this year with a hip injury. He returned to practice this week with the No. 2s and started against the Colts. His name was called a lot but not always for a good reason, Hadden was beaten repeatedly in coverage. As if the quarterback was trying to find him before the play started. Hadden will have to rebound quickly, with only one more week of training camp before the preseason finale against the Seahawks. Hadden could become the odd man out of the Green Bay Packers secondary.
