The 2025 recruit announced his commitment on the afternoon of Dec. 12 on social media to the Tigers.
The Columbia native is a composite 5-star point guard, ranked No. 20 in the country. Rowe is one of the highest ranked prospects in Missouri recruiting history. Rowe, being the only commit in the class, is the highest ranked prospect of the class.
Rowe started his high school career at Tolton and then transferred to national high school powerhouse Link Academy. Link Academy is located in Branson, Mo and is a hub for high-ranked recruits across the country. Rowe is now returning to Columbia at Tolton.
Rowe's final schools consisted of the Tigers, the Tennessee Volunteers and the Kansas State Wildcats. Prediction for a period of time favored the Volunteers but shifted in favor of Missouri after his official visit. Rowe was on campus for a visit the weekend of Dec. 2
In composite rankings, Rowe is the No. 4 point guard in the country behind some of the nation's best. Rowe also ranks as the second best player in the state behind Link Academy 5-star Jasper Johnson.
Johnson, the 6-4 shooting guard, may be a target for the Tigers in the 2025 cycle. He is the No. 12 player in the country in composite rankings and is the second best at his position.
It may be too early to tell who else the Tigers are targeting for the class of 2025, but securing a commitment from Rowe early on may be a sign of good things to come.
