Midfielder Andy Diouf is already in training for Inter Milan today, and will be in the squad for the Nerazzurri’s Serie A opener against Torino.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Yesterday, Inter Milan completed the signing of midfielder Andy Diouf from Lens.

The Nerazzurri reportedly paid a fee worth around €25 million in total to sign the Frenchman. He became their fourth signing of the summer after Petar Sucic, Luis Henrique, and Ange-Yoan Bonny.

According to the Gazzetta, Diouf has come straight into training for Inter.

The deal for the 22-year-old was truly a whirlwind process, with reports of Inter’s interest in him only emerging a couple days ago.

However, Diouf is truly not wasting any time settling in at his new club.

Therefore, the Gazzetta report, the France Under-21 international will be in Inter’s squad for their first match of the season.

The Nerazzurri host Torino at the San Siro to open up their league season on Monday.
