Bill Skarsgard is reprising his role as terrifying clown Pennywise in an IT prequel series, but that's not all he has to do.
In Welcome to Derry, the actor is also attached in a second role as executive producer.
Welcome to Derry is set before the 2017 movie It and its sequel, It Chapter Two, and reunites a number of key creators. These include Andy Muschietti, who directed both movies, along with producers Barbara Muschietti, Roy Lee, Dan Lin, and Jason Fuchs.
The TV adaptation of the Stephen King horror classic features nine episodes, with Andy Muschietti directing four of them, according to a report by Deadline.
Other actors appearing in the series are Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, and James Remar.
Together, It and It Chapter Two grossed a total of $1.17 billion worldwide, so there’s plenty of love for Pennywise. Skarsgard might even enjoy himself after his “evil” Nosferatu role took a toll.
