The New York Liberty are rolling after picking up a dominant 77-58 win over the Chicago Sky.They have advanced to a WNBA-best 9-0 record, steamrolling through all the competition they faced thus far, proving they're the team to beat during this WNBA season.Their dominance hasn't gone unrecognized; some of the biggest names in sports are coming out and showing support for the current reigning champion, including veteran Quarterback Jameis Winston.Following the win, in an interview following the game, Winston shared his support for the New York Liberty and standout guard Jaylyn Sherrod."I came out here to show the world that Jaylyn Sherrod is the baddest," Winston said. "She's the greatest. And the WNBA is the hottest thing in the world right now. Our women, no one works harder than them, no one puts on a show like them. And I had to come support the 2024 WNBA Champions.”

Winston, well known for never shying away from his motivational speeches, signed with the Giants in the offseason, solving their glaring problem with Quarterback depth.The Liberty are taking care of business so far in the 2025 season, defeating some of the best teams in the league on its road to a back-to-back title.Things are clicking on both sides of the ball for the Liberty with stars Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart continuing to play some of their best basketball at the moment. The Liberty would look to keep things going when they head to Indiana to take on the Fever.
