The YNG Dreamerz, rebranded as their alter ego the YNG Nightmarez for the evening, put on a special performance in the Prime Video game of the week, taking down RWE 99-95 thanks to a 45 point fourth quarter. Eli Ellis was his usual brilliant self, scoring a game-high 38 points as he now possesses eight of the top ten single game scoring performances this season. With their win, the Dreamerz are now in sole possession of first place with a record of 11-4, which puts them a half game up on both the City Reapers and the Cold Hearts
Isaac Ellis continues to be the perfect complimentary piece to his brother as he scored 22 points, despite a hard fall on his wrist in the fourth quarter, including two clutch free throws to ice the game. Don Lewis continued to do a brilliant job stretching the floor, scoring 16 points including three triples and giving his teammates a wide open lane to drive into all evening
RWE drops to 7-7 with the loss and fall to fifth in the standings, just a half game behind Jelly Fam for the coveted fourth seed. Daquan Davis played his heart out, hitting big shot after big shot, to finish the game with 26 points but fell just short of the win. Darrion Sutton finished his night with his seventh double-double of the season, closing out the evening with a stat line of 17 points and ten boards ❤️
