Savannah Bananas owner Jesse Cole couldn’t help but smile when asked about what’s next for baseball’s most entertaining team.

In an in-game interview, Cole gave fans a taste of what’s ahead for the Bananas — but, true to form, he wasn’t ready to give away all the secrets.

“We saw a new ballpark this year, we saw football fields,” Cole said.

Sam Bauman, the Bananas media relations coordinator, asked Cole, “Any idea what we can expect?”

“I’ve got a really good idea. I actually know most of it,” Cole responded. “But am I going to share it on national TV? No, I’m not.”

That mystery is part of the Bananas showmanship, but Cole didn’t leave fans completely in the dark.

He hinted at major announcements coming soon, including a selection show that will reveal the two new teams set to join the mix.

Jesse Cole on Starting Small and Dreaming Big

For Cole, the Bananas growth follows the same philosophy that has guided them from the beginning: start small, dream big.

“The City World Tour started in Mobile, Alabama. We called it the one-city world tour,” Cole recalled. “We had 3,500 people and we were dreaming. We still called it a world tour. Today games are here and could be going international next year.”

Going global is only part of the plan. Cole emphasized his desire to bring Banana Ball to fans in every corner of the country — not just major sports markets.

“We want to go to places other people won’t go,” he said.

“We want to go to the states that don’t have national sports. We want to go to the smallest and most historic stadiums all over the country.

Football stadiums, too — some of the greatest shows we had all year were at football stadiums, and now we’re hearing from more and more who want to bring us in.”

Savannah Bananas Goal to Reach Every Fan

Cole’s long-term vision is bold but simple: make Banana Ball accessible for everyone.

“My goal is that wherever fans are, they can drive four, five, six hours and get to a game,” he said.

The Bananas tour has already redefined what a baseball experience can be, and with new teams, international stops, and more unconventional venues on the way, Cole’s dream of reaching every fan looks closer than ever.
