Joel Dahmen Nails First Ace at Charles Schwab Challenge

Joel Dahmen made some history early at the 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge with a spectacular ace. On a sunny Thursday at the Colonial Country Club, Dahmen's golf ball took a flight, a bounce, and then a glide straight into the cup on the par-3, 13th hole.

This wasn’t just any hole-in-one; it was Dahmen's inaugural ace on the PGA TOUR, marking a milestone in his professional career.

The 186-yard shot that Dahmen masterfully executed didn't just land anywhere. It soared, landed roughly 30 feet past the hole, and thanks to a friendly backstop, it found its way back into the hole as if it had eyes.

The crowd erupted, and Dahmen, caught in the moment, shared high-fives with his playing partners, then turned to his longtime caddie, Geno Bonnalie, for a hug that encapsulated years of hard work, dedication, and now, a shared moment of triumph.

This hole-in-one wasn't just a highlight reel-worthy shot. It propelled Dahmen to 2-under on the round, igniting hopes for a strong finish and perhaps a run at his second career PGA TOUR victory. At the time of writing, Dahmen currently sits T28 at a -1 through 8 holes.

Standing at No. 82 in the FedExCup standings, Dahmen is acutely aware of the importance of every shot, every round, as he strives for a spot in the coveted FedExCup Playoffs.
