Canadian singer Justin Bieber took his love for hockey to another level on Sunday, squaring off in a playful fight with Hockey Hall of Famer Jeremy Roenick during the LA Strong charity game.
The event was held at Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena before the Los Angeles Kings’ game against the Utah Hockey Club. It was meant to raise funds for victims of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.
Bieber and Roenick exchanged words during the game and things escalated quickly during the second period, leading to an impromptu fight between them.
The pop star threw a few punches, while Roenick, a former NHL enforcer, played along before the two separated with smiles. According to the Los Angeles Kings, the moment was witnessed by 12,167 fans in attendance.

The charity game was organized by NHL executive Steve Mayer and Kings president Luc Robitaille and it featured a mix of celebrities and former NHL players.
Bieber led Team Black along with actors Steve Carell, Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, and Danny DeVito, to NHL legends Mark Messier, Kevin Bieksa, and Rob Blake.
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman praised the event’s impact on Sunday.
“We like to view hockey and sports as an opportunity to bring people together,” Bettman said. “We’ve always made it one of our values that if we can make a difference in the lives of the people that are in the communities in which we server and have franchises, we should be doing that.
"That’s what we try to do. Coming here was important.”
