While Kai Trump isn’t competing yet, she made it to Augusta National to soak in the Masters experience. President Donald Trump’s granddaughter shared moments from golf’s holy ground, giving fans a unique look at the prestigious tournament.
“What a special place,” Kai Trump shared on Instagram just a few hours ago. Trump posed for pictures that included towering pines, the famous white leaderboards, and more.
The tournament gave the talented young player an excellent opportunity to meet many professional players from around the globe.
For instance, one of her gallery posts featured Bryson DeChambeau. Besides winning the last two LIV Golf events, DeChambeau also shared the green with her grandfather in 2024.
Although Kai Trump has been away from compiteting her self due to her left-wrist injury, she hasn’t stopped enjoying the sport.
In fact, she underwent surgery to repair her ECU tendon stabilizing tissues and the triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) in January. Earlier this month, the 18-year-old even returned to practice.
While the POTUS is a huge patron for the sport, Kai credits her mom, Vanessa Trump, for introducing her to the game. “I started playing when I was 2, and my mom actually introduced me to golf,” Trump revealed in her YouTube video.
The other side of Trump’s love for golf comes through content creation. From sharing posts like the one from Augusta National to her YouTube channel, Kai Trump has amassed almost 9 million followers across all social media platforms.
Now, after returning to practice, the 18-year-old hopes to keep progressing toward professional golf. She’s even expressed her desire to play in the LPGA.
However, for now, her next goal is to shine at the university level. She has committed to the University of Miami. After completing her signing with the Hurricanes, she is expected to bring her tremendous energy to campus come the fall season.
So, tell us what you thought about Kai Trump giving fans a unique look at Augusta during the Masters.
