Defensive backs coach Willie Martinez signed a strong batch of secondary prospects during the 2024 cycle, and his biggest win was four-star corner Kaleb Beasley. He was one of America's most decorated high school corners in the entire recruiting cycle and is the No. 152 prospect in the class, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

However, top suitors will always call for these types of prospects, even after committing. Beasley spoke about schools that kept calling during his media availability at the Under Armour All-American Game, which will kick off next Wednesday.

Notre Dame was another program that kept in consistent communication with Beasley. He's friends with 2025 four-star quarterback commit Deuce Knight, who was being heavily recruited by Tennessee this summer. Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman resonated with Beasley, but he grew up a Tennessee fan and felt they gave him the best opportunities moving forward.
