Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant has been outspoken about his love for the WNBA. The forward was among the stars in attendance as the Los Angeles Sparks hosted the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday.
Actor Jason Sudeikis was also among the celebrities taking in the thrilling WNBA contest. Atlanta was able to hold off Los Angeles' late comeback attempt to secure an 88-82 win.
Dream star Allisha Gray posted 25 points, six assists and five rebounds in the win. Atlanta notched the victory despite Brittney Griner missing her second straight game with a knee injury.
After the Dream topped the Sparks, Durant was spotted on the court talking with some of the players.
Durant struck up a brief conversation with Griner and Rhyne Howard among others. Here is a look at the interaction between Durant and the WNBA players.

The Suns star has spoken highly of Griner throughout their careers. After Griner opted to leave the Phoenix Mercury for Atlanta this offseason, Durant reacted to the news.
"She's going to impact that city just as much," Durant noted on Jan. 30, per Clutch Points' Hayden Cilley. "I loved getting to play in the same city as her for the last couple of years."
Durant has also been vocal about his love for watching the WNBA.

“I enjoy watching the WNBA,” Durant said back in 2021, per SB Nation. “I pretty much follow all the girls and try to keep up with the box scores and see how they are doing each night and watch as much as I can.”

“You know, the game of basketball is incredible no matter who is on the floor."
The Dream are hoping that Durant and others will see Griner return to the court sooner rather than later.
