Those who hope to catch the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics battle it out in the Eastern Conference semifinals live at Madison Square Garden in New York City this Saturday afternoon will have to drop a lot of serious cash.

Ticket prices for Game 3 are reaching jaw-dropping levels. Currently, the cheapest ticket for the game is $704, while courtside seats are selling at $54,541. The average ticket price is almost $1000.

Some are comparing those courtside prices to the salaries of WNBA stars Caitlin Clark from the Indiana Fever and Angel Reese from the Chicago Sky.

According to reports, Clark's salary for the 2025 season is a little over $78,000, while Reese will be making $74,909

The Knicks are currently leading their Eastern Conference Semifinals series against the Boston Celtics 2-0, having secured both victories at TD Garden in Boston.

In Game 1 on Monday, the Knicks edged out the Celtics 108-105 in overtime. They followed up with another close 91-90 win in Game 2 on Wednesday, overcoming a 20-point deficit for the second consecutive game.

If the Knicks win the series, they will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2000. Whoever wins the Eastern Conference Finals will face the winner of the Western Conference Finals in the NBA Finals.

The series now shifts to Madison Square Garden for Game 3 on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET, followed by Game 4 next Monday at 7:30 p.m. ET. If necessary, Games 5 through 7 are scheduled for May 14, 16 and 19, respectively.
