Raheem Morris has been saying it for weeks — Bijan Robinson is the best player in all of football. And through five games, it’s hard to argue with the Falcons head coach.
Robinson single-handedly carried Atlanta’s offense to victory on Monday night, piling up 238 yards from scrimmage. The performance was highlighted by an 81-yard touchdown run in the first half — the longest of his career and the second-longest in franchise history.
The electrifying play even caught the attention of one of the greatest athletes on the planet. LeBron James took to social media to show his appreciation for what Bijan Robinson is doing on the football field.

Many would consider Bijan Robinson’s 2024 campaign a breakout year. He racked up nearly 1,500 rushing yards, over 1,800 yards from scrimmage, and 15 total touchdowns. But in his third season, he’s on pace to shatter those numbers.
Following his 238-yard performance on Monday night, Robinson became the first running back since Thurman Thomas in 1991 to surpass 450 rushing yards and 300 receiving yards through five games. He’s currently on pace for 1,646 rushing yards and 1,149 receiving yards — good for a staggering 2,795 total yards from scrimmage. That would break Chris Johnson’s single-season record of 2,509, set in 2009.
It’s no surprise, then, that Robinson is front and center in the Offensive Player of the Year conversation. DraftKings currently lists him with the second-best odds at +400, trailing only Jonathan Taylor at +175.
