The NCAA Tournament is now into the round of 32, but fans were treated to plenty of memorable moments throughout the first two days of March Madness. The field started with 68 teams, and after games on Thursday and Friday we're down to 32.

It may be the most wonderful time of the year for some sports fans, but one head coach is being ridiculed for an interesting fashion statement on Friday night.

During Liberty's loss to No. 5 seed Oregon on Friday night, fans noticed an interesting haircut for Liberty head coach Ritchie McKay.

Fans commented on the cut, and they especially honed in on the fact that McKay attempted to hide his receding hairline by painting over it.

"God as this day nears for me…grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference," one fan said.

"Barber hit him with the convertible," another fan said.

"This is the information people need, I don’t need any other info on games from November or quad 1," said one fan.

"Couldn't decide on the cut, so he went with a few of 'em. Haha," said another fan.

"He can't be considered a serious person," one fan stated.

"Ain’t know way his wife, his kids, his assistant coaches, his team, his employer let him do this and no one pulled him to the side. No one said anything?!?!," another fan asked, showing concern.

"His barber needs to be tried in front of a grand jury," one fan suggested.

"When they did the close up, I knew then Coach would be a meme by morning," said another fan.

McKay's haircut was poorly received, and the same could be said for Liberty's effort on the court. They were blown out by Oregon 81-52, ending their NCAA Tournament after a single game.

This was Liberty's sixth NCAA Tournament appearance in its history, and its first since 2021. They were able to advance to the round of 32 in 2019, their only tournament win in program history.

After the win over Liberty, No. 5 Oregon will face No. 4 seed Arizona in a classic Pac-12 matchup on Sunday at 9:40 PM.
