Logan Paul took a jab at Conor McGregor while also having a go at the Irish crowd during his WWE stop in Dublin.
Paul, who has moved through boxing and professional wrestling after his time as an influencer, is currently on a European tour with WWE. The tour’s latest event took place in Dublin, Ireland.
The history between Logan Paul and Conor McGregor is well known. The two nearly came to blows during an uncomfortable bus ride together.
The two were even connected to a potential $500 million fight, and Paul appears to be keeping the rivalry going with his latest comments during the WWE event in Dublin.
Paul took another swipe at McGregor during a recent appearance on WWE, keeping their long-standing feud in the spotlight.
The YouTuber-turned-wrestler interrupted John Cena on SmackDown ahead of their upcoming match at WWE Clash in Paris, and did not waste any time getting under the skin of the Irish fans.
He started off by telling the crowd how good it was to be back in England before repeating an old jab, calling them “drunk, washed-up failures” – a line he’s aimed at McGregor before.
Paul also threw in another nod to ‘The Notorious’ by saying the fans would “do nothin’” if he stepped out of the ring, echoing one of the fighter’s well-known catchphrases.
“Hey, it’s always good to be back in England! Man, all you Irish people are the same – drunk, washed-up, failures.
“Hey, I’ll tell you what. If I got out of this ring right now and spat in your faces, you would do nothing, you little leprechauns!”
A bout between Paul and McGregor appeared to be close earlier this year, with both men attracted by a potential $500 million purse.
McGregor has not fought since 2021 due to a leg injury sustained in a loss to Dustin Poirier. His boxing match against Floyd Mayweather, however, had already demonstrated financial opportunities beyond the UFC.
Given Paul’s rise in both boxing and WWE, it looked like a fight between them could be one of the most profitable options for McGregor right now.
Dana White has since dismissed any plans for a bout between Paul and McGregor, also ruling out a potential fight between ‘The Notorious’ and KSI.
“No. Hopefully, Conor McGregor returns in the fall of this year,” White told the Pardon My Take Podcast.
McGregor had previously missed out on another big-money fight against Manny Pacquiao because of UFC obligations. He is now expected to return at the promotion’s special event at the UFC White House in 2026.
