As A to Z covered just yesterday, Dominick McKinley (DL, Acadiana High School) was one of only eight remaining Top 300 recruits who had yet to officially sign with a college football program.
McKinley had decommitted from Texas A&M in December and had several teams vying for his services ever since then. But McKinley made it official on Wednesday. He'll be an LSU Tiger in 2024.

McKinley was the final remaining five star defensive lineman to commit in the 2024 recruiting class. At 6'6", 280 pounds, McKinley had been a Top 100 consensus football recruit for nearly a year according to the 247Sports Composite.
LSU's run defense reached new lows last fall, ranking 87th in stopping opposing ground attacks. McKinley's physical force off the line may need to be felt from day one if the Tigers want to be able to compete against the top teams in the SEC in 2024.
The addition of McKinley should now officially solidify LSU's 2024 group as a Top Ten high school recruiting class as he will now be the highest rated player signed with the Tigers this cycle.
