LSU’s New Uniforms For Saturday Night Leave College Football Fans in Awe
Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports

The LSU Tigers face the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday, but the game may not be the only thing for fans to take note of. The Tigers announced some exciting new home alternate uniforms for the SEC showdown.

LSU is on a three-game losing streak after the Florida Gators beat the Tigers 27-16 in Gainesville on Saturday. The game was tightly contested in the first half, with both teams scoring 10 points in the first two quarters.

LSU and Florida were neck and neck in the third quarter, each knocking down a field goal to tie things up at 13. Florida capitalized on LSU's offensive struggles and scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to separate itself.

The Tigers announced on X on Monday that they are going with gold uniforms, with purple and white colors on the shoulders of the jerseys.

College football fans were pumped about the uniforms, and LSU fans pleaded for the team to wear the jersey at least once every season.

"All I ask is that these are permanent now," an LSU fan said. "Should be worn every season at least once."

Like this fan, others kept their reactions to the reveal short and sweet.

"YESSSSSSSS OH MY GOD." another LSU fan said.

Some LSU fans used a combination of words and emojis to convey their response.

"yk what these hit." one fan said

Another LSU fan incorporated the phrase "Geaux Tigers" into their reaction.

"LETS GEAUXXXXZ." they said

Fans used a variety of gifs to display their reaction to the uniforms as well.

"I ALREADY FORGOT AND I’M NOT MAD AT YOU ANYMORE." one fan said.

"I just bought one, and it's ready to be worn." another fan said.

"Y’all really had to do this to make this season worth something right," one fan said. "And it’s working."
