Kaiden Buchanan earned an offer from Alabama football with an impressive camp performance on Saturday.

Buchanan attends Tupelo High School in Mississippi, and he is a member of the 2028 recruiting class. An Alabama offer is something the rising sophomore has dreamed about.

“This offer means everything to me,” Buchanan said. “I’ve been dreaming of Alabama since I was a kid, and it shows that all the hard work, early mornings and sacrifices are paying off. But I still have work to do.”

Alabama’s linebacker coach Chuck Morrell was on hand to extend the offer to Buchanan.

“Coach Morrell told me he liked my footwork and how I move,” Buchanan told Touchdown Alabama. “He said I’m very coachable, and he even joked about me being a 2028 recruit because I seem to play as if I was older than 15.”

The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder flows to the football by taking good angles with his ability to play sideline to sideline and effectively tackle in space. He makes plays rushing from the edge and playing off the ball.
