The Tennessee Vols officially reached bowl eligibility on Saturday night via their 33-27 road win against the Kentucky Wildcats.

For the first time since the 2014-2016 seasons, the Vols will be playing in three straight bowl games.

Tennessee's win against Kentucky should also result in the Vols moving up in the AP Top 25 poll this week.

UT was ranked No. 21 for the matchup against Kentucky after losing to Alabama the previous week.

247Sports took a shot at predicting how the new AP Top 25 poll will look on Sunday afternoon and they think Tennessee will move up just one spot from No. 21 to No. 20.

There's an argument for the Vols to move up to No. 18, though I think they'll likely land at No. 19.

No. 20 Duke and No. 17 North Carolina lost on Saturday. The Vols should definitely jump both of those teams.

No. 13 Utah also lost, but I'm not sure they'll fall below Tennessee (though again, there's an argument to be made there).

The Vols have winnable games the next two weeks against UConn and Missouri. If Tennessee wins both of those games, they could be knocking on the doorsteps of the top 10 (depending how how the rest of the games shake out) ahead of their late November matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs.
