Comparing him to Tom Brady is a wise chess move on Spagnuolo’s part.

All Burrow can do is say thank you to this comparison and try to live up to what is basically an impossible measure.

A Strong Comparison For The Young QB

Burrow is in his second NFL season and is already drawing comparisons to Brady.

That is high praise and proves that Spagnuolo is actually taking the young quarterback seriously.

Martindale’s comments seemed out of line from the start and did not make much sense.

What was he trying to gain by knocking down Burrow?

All he did was set himself up for exactly what ended up happening.

Burrow is a young, fiery player who is clearly on his phone finding any extra motivation out there.

This does not mean that opposing coaches need to go on and on praising him so early in his career.

But they should avoid Martindale’s path of criticism.

That apparently only makes him better and ready to prove everyone wrong.

Burrow now faces the tough task of having consistently dominant performances.

Having a huge day against the Chiefs and locking down the AFC North division would prove that Burrow may actually be the next coming of Brady.
