The No. 17 Alabama Crimson Tide face the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday night in Athens.
This is the third season in a row in which these two teams will play each other, with Alabama taking the previous two.
On Saturday morning, ESPN's "College GameDay" aired live from State College, Pennsylvania, and the crew went around the desk giving picks for the day's games.
When they reached the Alabama-Georgia game, many wondered if Nick Saban would go with his former team or the Bulldogs, whom he faced nine times in 17 seasons while coaching for the Crimson Tide.
Saban predicted Alabama to win, while Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and guest picker LaVar Arrington picked Georgia.
"Well, I'm gonna appeal to the fans here," Saban said. "We have a home in Georgia; we have a home in Alabama. I would like to not pick this game because I'd like for neither one of those homes to get vandalized. I'm asking for your help. But I gotta pick it with my heart, man. Roll Tide."
