Nick Saban tells why Jalen Milroe will bring different element to Seattle Seahawks

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe was drafted No. 92 overall by the Seattle Seahawks on Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Former Alabama head coach Nick Saban provided his thoughts on what Milroe will add to the Seahawks offense on Friday night.

“He’s gonna give the Seahawks an element of offense that nobody else in this draft can give anybody, because this guy is fast. He’s explosive and look — he can’t throw the ball. He’s got a strong arm.”

Saban coached Milroe during his first three years of college. In 2023, Milroe helped lead Alabama to the College Football Playoff.

The Seahawks already have a quarterback under a long-term contract. Sam Darnold signed a three-year deal worth $100.5-million dollars this offseason.

It will certainly be interesting to see what type of role Milroe has on the Seahawks offense and how involved he will be in the offensive gameplan as a rookie.
