The No. 1-ranked prospect in the 2026 recruiting class could commit to the Georgia Bulldogs on May 13. But until then, the offensive tackle may be a tease to Bulldogs fans.

That's what five-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell appeared to be with one social media post this week.

"Hmm #GoDawgs," wrote Cantwell on Monday in a quote tweet of a story from On3's Hayes Fawcett.

The story Cantwell quote tweeted was about new Georgia quarterback commit Jared Curtis taking on an active role in recruiting for the Bulldogs.

The five-star offensive tackle included a question mark emoji after the "Go Dawgs" hashtag in his post.

Based on the 247Sports composite rankings, Cantwell is the top overall recruit in the 2026 class. Cantwell is also the consensus top offensive tackle and Missouri prospect in the class.

The offensive tackle is expected to announced his final college decision on May 13.

Before that decision, Cantwell and his family are taking an unofficial visit to Athens, Ga., this weekend. The offensive tackle is choosing between Georgia and the Oregon Ducks.

If the Bulldogs receive a commitment from Cantwell, they will have landed the 247Sports composite rankings' top-ranked prospect and No. 1 quarterback Jared Curtis this month.

Curtis was committed to the Bulldogs early in the recruiting cycle, re-opened his recruitment and then re-committed to Georgia on Monday.

According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Curtis is the No. 2 prospect in the 2026 class.

Since his commitment, Curtis has openly tried recruiting Cantwell on social media.
