The month of June has been one of giving on the recruiting trail for the Ohio State Buckeyes. With four commitments this month, Ohio State is now up to 17 total for the class of 2026.

Since hiring Tyler Bowen to take over the offensive line, the Buckeyes have been locked in on recruiting players for the trenches. Bowen has now landed his fourth commit since joining the program this offseason.

Ohio State’s offensive line haul now features two players from the state of Arizona, thanks to their latest addition.

The Buckeyes beat out the Texas Longhorns and others to secure their newest commitment.

Ohio State added to its 2026 class on Wednesday night when three-star offensive tackle Aaron Thomas announced his commitment. Thomas had also been considering Texas, Texas A&M, Florida State, and Washington. One of the most impressive aspects of his commitment is that the Mountain Pointe (AZ) standout has only been playing tackle for about a year.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Thomas is ranked as the No. 36 offensive tackle and No. 439 overall player nationally. Listed at 6-foot-7 and 300 pounds, he gives the Buckeyes a legitimate offensive tackle to develop.

In-state four-stars Maxwell Riley and Sam Greer are joined by three-star OL Tucker Smith in this class. While Ohio State went after big names like Jackson Cantwell but came up short, they’ve still managed to put together a solid offensive line group for the 2026 cycle.

Since arriving from Virginia Tech, Bowen has done just about everything you could ask. The Buckeyes continue to stay red-hot on the recruiting trail.
