The last time we saw the Ohio State Buckeyes, they got into a massive fight with the Michigan Wolverines after they suffered a shocking 13-10 defeat. The next time we will see them is when they take on the Tennessee Volunteers in their first-round College Football Playoff matchup, and they will be looking to take the field in style.
Ohio State's loss to Michigan could end up destroying their season, as they were on track to be one of the top seeds in the CFP, while also earning a spot in the Big Ten Championship game. Instead, the loss bumped down to the No. 8 seed, while also seeing them miss out on their conference championship game.
The season isn't over yet, though, as the Buckeyes are still alive in the CFP, even if their path to the National Championship Game is much more daunting than it once was. Their first task involves beating Tennessee, and it sounds like they have already selected which uniforms they will be wearing for this playoff clash.
"Multiple sources told Eleven Warriors that Ohio State is planning to wear it's all-scarlet 'Color Rush' uniforms with the addition of the gray sleeve stripes it typically wears on its College Football Playoff uniforms," Josh Poloha of Eleven Warriors shared in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Ohio State teased this decision on social media, as they shared a post on X that featured several scarlet emojis. Now it seems like we know what that post was about, as the Buckeyes will be wearing their all-scarlet red uniforms when they take the field next, with the revelation sure to get their fans even more pumped for this game.
While Ohio State has endured a fall from grace in the eyes of many after their loss to Michigan, they are still a very good team that has all the pieces needed to go on a run to the National Championship Game. Case in point, they are currently 7.5 point favorites to beat Tennessee in this upcoming contest.
The Buckeyes will take on the Vols on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 8 p.m. EST, with the winner moving on to face the No. 1 ranked Oregon Ducks in the second-round.
