The Ohio State Buckeyes announced what time their kickoff against the Michigan Wolverines will happen on November 29, 2025. But the Buckeyes refused to refer to their biggest rival by their actual name.
The Buckeyes released four kickoff times in a tweet Thursday. The list of times started with a noon ET kickoff for Ohio State's showdown with the Texas Longhorns.
In Weeks 2 and 3, the Buckeyes will face the Grambling State Tigers at 3:30 pm ET and the Ohio Bobcats at 7 pm ET, respectively.
The announcement concluded with the Buckeyes kickoff against "TUN" at noon ET during the final Saturday of the regular season.
"TUN" presumably stands for "Team Up North."
As Ohio State fans know, it takes roughly three hours to drive from Columbus, Ohio to Ann Arbor, Michigan. The trip is almost exactly due north.
That has led to the Buckeyes often referring to Michigan as either the team or school "up north." For Ohio State, it's a humorous way to avoiding saying the name of their biggest rival.

The Buckeyes will be trying to end a four-game losing streak against Michigan this November. In the 2024 regular season finale, Ohio State lost to the "Team Up North" at home despite being ranked the No. 2 team in the country. Michigan was unranked before the matchup.
It was the first time in the rivalry that Ohio State lost four straight since the late 1980s and early 1990s.
The last time the Buckeyes lost five in a row to the Wolverines was about 100 years ago in the 1920s.
