Evaluation: An athletic safety on the back end, Jaydan Hardy plays a much different style than Reggie Powers, another one of the Sooners’ 2024 safety commits. An impressive long jumper in track and field, Hardy has the explosiveness to fly around the field and make plays on the ball in the air. With some coaching from Brandon Hall, Hardy’s athleticism should help him develop into a solid all-around safety for OU. Additionally, a few months in Oklahoma’s strength and conditioning program will help Hardy grow into his frame which should allow him to help in run support as he gets bigger.
