Evaluation: Another smaller receiver with plenty of speed, KJ Daniels was one of the Sooners’ earliest commitments in the 2024 class. Despite his size, Daniels has the ability to play on the outside but likely projects to be a high-level slot receiver. With great quickness, Daniels is hard for defenders to stop on short routes and has the elusiveness to make opposing defenses miss in space. Daniels role will likely be similar to what Jacquaize Pettaway showcased during his limited snaps as a true freshman in Norman.
