Tim Rego served the role of a depth defenseman well, spending most of the season in the ECHL with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. In 15 games with the Reign, Rego scored two goals and three assists for five points, playing primarily on the third pair. With Greenville, the 25-year-old suited up for 30 games and notched 10 points (5 G, 5 A). When the ECHL players went on strike (that lasted a week), Rego was called up and played three games for the Reign, tallying a goal and an assist. His AHL contract expires on June 30th.
