The ''Madden' cover athletes' quiz

Former 1st-overall NFL Draft pick Caleb Williams set a Chicago Bears franchise record with 3,942 passing yards last season before leading a remarkable comeback in the Wild Card against the Green Bay Packers. 

Now, he’s the first Bear to grace the cover of “Madden.”

While some fans may be worrying about the “Madden Cover Curse,” Williams didn’t seem too concerned when discussing the honor on the “New Heights” podcast. 

“Childhood dream,” he said. 

“They’ve never had two back-to-back, so let’s see if I can make it back-to-back this year.”

After going 5-12 as a rookie, the Bears paired Willaims with a new head coach in Ben Johnson, resulting in a six-win improvement and the franchise’s first playoff victory in 15 years.
