Pitt just started its spring semester, so the 2025 season is still quite far off, but the Panthers’ schedule is out.

It may have taken a somewhat ridiculous ACC Network schedule release that took nearly an hour, but the complete schedule for where and when the Panthers play this fall is out. And the Panthers have a favorable schedule to follow up a 7-6 (3-5 ACC) campaign.

Pitt kicks off its non-conference slate with the renewal of the City Game against Duquesne in Week 1, and the Panthers won’t have to travel far during the first month of the season. Pitt hosts Central Michigan in Week 2, travels to West Virginia in Week 3 and has a bye week in Week 4.

With Notre Dame later in the season, the ACC opener comes early against Louisville — hosting the Cardinals at Acrisure Stadium at the end of September.

Pitt kicks off October at home against Boston College before a two-week road trip against Florida State (Oct. 11) and Syracuse (Oct. 18). The Panthers return home to play North Carolina State to end the month.

Pitt will play Stanford on the road for the first time since 1927 to kick off November, and following the second bye week on Nov. 8, the Panthers will end the season by hosting Notre Dame (Nov. 8), traveling to Georgia Tech (Nov. 22) and hosting Miami (Nov. 29).

It’s not exactly the toughest schedule, but the same was said before last season’s surprisingly difficult second half of the season, but the Panthers don’t have to play the conference finalists this season.
