“I’m getting better, stronger than I thought I would be,” Kante said ten days ago. “I’m glad that I went through this [injury] because this made me stronger… Now I’m trying to focus on the next thing, like, every day, trying to get better and get healthy. The most important thing for me right now is trying to be healthy. Not think about what happened last year, but just take it as motivation going into the season because I know I missed one year, but for one year for me, I learned so much during that one year and I’m so grateful that happened to me right now.
