Sports fans are having a lot of fun knowing that the new pope is from Chicago and a fan of the city’s sports teams.
Robert Francis Cardinal Prevost on Friday was named the new leader of the Roman Catholic Church. Prevost is from Chicago, Ill., and took the name Pope Leo XIV. Since he’s a fan of Chicago sports teams, someone online had fun with the situation and gave him the 1990s Chicago Bulls introduction.

For those who are unfamiliar with the ’90s Bulls introductions, here is a video showing what their legendary introductions were like.
The ’90s Bulls were led by Michael Jordan and won six NBA championships. We already have confirmation that Pope Leo is a White Sox fan who attended the 2005 World Series. It’s fair to figure he was a big Bulls fan and would probably love that intro remix.
