With the announcement of the PWHL Expansion to Seattle, WA, and Vancouver, BC, prior to the 2025-26 season, both teams participated in the PWHL Expansion Draft that took place on Monday night. Before the Expansion Draft, the PWHL opened up an Exclusive Signing Window for both teams to select up to five players that were left unprotected by their previous teams. During the exclusive signing window, the Seattle PWHL team signed:
During the PWHL Expansion Draft, each team was able to take seven more players in order to reach a 12-player roster prior to the PWHL Entry Draft, which will be held on Tuesday, June 24th at Hard Rock Live in Ottawa, Ontario. The picks shaped up like this:

With the second pick, Seattle selected Aneta Tejralová, a defender who previously played for the Ottawa Charge. Tejralová appeared in 30 games through the 2024-25 season, finishing the season with one goal and nine assists.
The third pick saw Seattle select forward Hannah Bilka from the Boston Fleet. Bilka saw a shorter 2024-25 season, playing in just 16 games with five goals and six assists on the 2024-25 season. She suffered a lower-body injury while playing for Team USA during the Rivalry Series against Canada in January 2025.
Pick number six resulted in forward Jessie Eldridge heading to Seattle from the New York Sirens. Eldridge was a fan favorite, playing in 30 games with nine goals and 15 assists, resulting in 24 total points across the 2024-25 season.
With the seventh pick, forward Julia Gosling from the Toronto Sceptres is heading to Seattle. Gosling appeared in 30 games, ending the 2024-25 season with 10 points (4G, 6A).
The tenth pick sent defender Anna Wilgren to Seattle from the Montreal Victoire. She appeared in 30 games through the 2024-25 season, rounding out the year with three goals and six assists.
Pick number 11 sends defender Megan Carter to Seattle from the Toronto Sceptres. Carter is a quiet but reliable player, despite having just one assist across 19 games during the 2024-25 season. She suffered a lower-body injury in November of 2024, limiting her debut season.
With the 14th and final pick, Seattle selected defender Emily Brown from the Boston Fleet. Brown played in 29 games with one goal and three assists through the 2024-25 season.
