Raiders NFL Draft Prospect: T Joe Alt, Notre Dame

The Las Vegas Raiders will likely be putting an emphasis on the offensive tackle position in the 2024 NFL Draft.

With Raiders offensive tackles Jermaine Eluemunor and Brandon Parker each being free agents this offseason, and captain Kolton Miller posing a concern with his shoulder injury that had him miss four games this past season, at the very least, Las Vegas should add some depth at the position.

Offensive tackle Joe Alt of Notre Dame is one of the top offensive linemen in this year's NFL Draft class. There's a strong possibility Alt goes in the top 10, but if he falls to the Raiders' first pick at No. 13, the Silver and Black would not go wrong with taking the prospect.

Alt was a unanimous first-team All-American in 2023 after leading an O-line group that blocked for one of the top scoring offenses in college football. The Fighting Irish finished the 2023 season with an average of 39.1 points per game, the second-best mark in program history. It was the seventh-best average in FBS this past season.

Alt was named a 2023 Lombardi Award finalist, an Outland Trophy finalist, given annually to the nation's top interior offensive lineman, and, along with the rest of Notre Dame's O-line, a 2023 Joe Moore Award semifinalist, given annually to the nation's best O-line unit.
