When Lamar Jackson speaks, everyone in Baltimore listens. So when the superstar quarterback pleaded with Baltimore Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta to sign veteran corner Jaire Alexander, it was only a matter of time before a deal got done. Sure enough, one day later, Alexander is officially a Raven.
Baltimore granted Jackson his wish, signing the veteran corner to a one-year deal worth up to $6 million. NFL insider Adam Schefter reports that the deal is only $4 million, with $2 million in incentives. That means this is an incredibly team-friendly deal for a two-time All-Pro, two-time Pro Bowl cornerback.

Jackson and Alexander played together in college at Louisville, and that’s why the two-time MVP was so determined to team up with him again. Now, the former Cardinals are reunited, but as Ravens this time.
