The Game between bitter rivals Michigan and Ohio State produced a 10-10 halftime score through the first two quarters on Saturday afternoon.

The Buckeyes got off to a slow start in their home stadium, but were able to tie up the score with a touchdown from true-freshman wide receiver Jeremiah Smith just before the halftime break.

While the Ohio State faithful were thrilled to see Smith get into the end zone for the
Buckeyes' first TD of the day, many unbiased onlookers saw a crucial missed call by the Big Ten officiating crew.

The Buckeyes got into position to score off a defensive pass interference flag called against the Wolverines. After looking at the replay review on Fox Sports' broadcast, many fans felt the call should've been offensive pass interference on Smith.

On the scoring play, Smith ran over a Michigan defender and got wide open for quarterback Will Howard.

Earlier in the game, Smith got away with an obvious facemask flag that was ultimately called defensive pass interference on the Wolverines.

The referees are facing some serious backlash for these game-altering calls.

"Clear OPI. Still no penalties on OSU," one fan wrote.

"Where would Jeremiah Smith be if he wasn’t allowed to commit Opi every play," another said.

"That was two OPI’s in a row on #4 man what are we doing," another added.

"Like in what world is this not OPI," another wrote.

Smith finished the first half with four catches for 32 yards and one touchdown.
